🇬🇩✊🏽 I marvel at folks who attempt to deny my Blackness based on the presence of my Grenadian heritage via my Mother's bloodlines. In doing so they deny revolution and resistance as inherent in our melanated DNA just as innovation and creativity is. May the Spice Isle remember its roots and regain its footing as a forever fighter of imperialism from Jab to Henri Christophe to Malcolm X to the New Jewel Movement and beyond 🇬🇩✊🏽

We remember not only the crisis and imperialist invasion, [by the United States] that brought the Grenadian Revolution to an end, but its tremendous accomplishments.
